“Line of Fortune” is a gallery of portraits of Kazakh cultural figures, men of science, sports personalities and ingenious people who managed to put their ideas into practice, implement their plans and achieve success in spite of unfavourable circumstances. Each film is based on dramatic events in their life and the unusual actions of the characters which influenced their destiny and determined their “line of fortune”. 

The characters’ fundamental principles of life and their ideology are conveyed in the specific actions, steps and decisions which are important for the community. Each episode of the “Line of Fortune” series is either based on a hero’s story about the events of their life or on the narration of the author of the programme. In the programme, you can also see documentaries about outstanding people of Kazakhstan whose names went down in the history of the country.
