A nation-wide conference on elaborating the main priorities in the president’s state-of-the-nation address has been held at the Eurasian National University. It was attended by Kazakh Secretary of State Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed. The session was also attended by the Deputy Head of Presidential Administration Baglan Mailybayev, the Minister of Culture and Information Darkhan Mynbayev, other ministers, deputy regional governors, directors of Kazakhstani media and representatives of nongovernmental organizations.

«As the second wave of global financial crisis is raging in the world and social expenditures are reducing significantly even in the most developed countries, thanks to the political will of our head of state billions of funds are being allocated from the national budget for social programs, especially healthcare and education, as well as for addressing employment issues. It is you who should communicate this to each resident of the region, effectively and clearly explain the social aspect of the president’s address to the nation.»
