Kazakhstan increases export customs duties for oil products
Kazakhstan introduced export custom duties in August 2010. The ban on export of fuel is in action until June, 2012.

The Novosti-Kazakhstan information agency has announced that the government of Kazakhstan has increased export customs duties for oil products with the prime minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov ratifying the corresponding decree. The document defines the rates of customs duties for the export of light oil products equal to 164.97 US dollars per tonne again 143.54 US dollars and 109.98 US dollars per tonne of dark oil products. Export customs duties for crude oil were maintained at 40 US dollars per tonne.
